Meeting Rooms
Quechee: Providing
meeting spaces for individuals and groups supports a mission
goal of the Quechee Library to be a community center.
Quechee Library offers non-profit groups meeting space at the Library when there is no conflict with library functions. The library reserves the right to re-schedule a group due to special circumstances. For-profit groups may rent on an hourly basis if there is no conflict with library operations or other meetings. See below for expectations of use by any group.
Wilder: The historic Wilder Club and Library has a large hall with stage that is available for meetings, private parties and other events. Call 295-0100 for rental information and reservations.
Quechee Policy
Each group will be loaned a key to the back door of the library (Willard Street) which allows access to the downstairs meeting room and rest room. A representative of the group must sign a statement acknowledging receipt and responsibility for the key and its prompt return and for leaving the room as found. If food of any kind is served, all remaining food must be taken from the building and the floor should be vacuumed to remove all crumbs. The door must be locked upon leaving. The group using the meeting room is responsible for any or all losses incurred by the library as a result of leaving the building unlocked.
*Note: The Upper Valley Stamp Group meets the second Monday of each month at the Library.
